After a decade in the culinary industry, where I worked as a Michelin-rated chef and corporate manager, I returned to school to complete my academic journey in finance.

​My passion for data interpretation and presentation has guided me from the broad focus of a finance bachelor's degree into the code-intensive and nuanced world of financial analytics for my master's. It is in this challenging, AI-driven, and ever-evolving sector that I've chosen to apply myself for the long haul.

As this pivotal part of my journey into a new career comes to a close, I am excited to join a company that can leverage my strong work ethic, dedication to learning, and commitment to continuous improvement in the financial services field.

With my SIE exam passed my focus has turned to study for the Series 7 and 66 FINRA Exams. I've also begun studying for the Wealth Management Charter (CWM) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certifications for the years ahead.

Overview: Worked as part of a team to design and build a custom GPT chatbot, using Make.com and Zapier automation platforms, to connect to a unique API with the goal of providing sentiment and numerical analysis of cryptocurrencies as well as providing information on the financial terms relevant to cryptocurrencies.

Personal Contributions: Wrote and implemented PostgreSQL SCHEMA through a PostgreSQL server for connecting the API and open.AI. The SCHEMA designed was meant for API key and API URL storage and to streamline the data table creation for faster sentiment analysis and data pulling schedule for optimal server performance. Additionally, set up the HTTP webhook for API key and API URL access by the chatbot.

Team Contributions: Designed the project workflow and translation from Make.com to Zapier as per clients request. Trained the custom GPT in following Australian Financial Services (AFS) laws, primarily surrounding the ability to give advice, and customizing the chatbots language settings to be more user friendly to the Australian populace.
